Aegean Electronics continues a long family history and heritage in the marine electronics market, continuously since the middle of the last century. Founded in 1996 combining comprehensive experience and know-how with an original perspective, we were soon recognized as an innovative provider of services and solutions for marine electronic systems.
Over time, we have built strong relations with local partners in Greece and Cyprus, as well as with international service providers. This enabled us to coordinate and provide efficient and professional global support for our customers.
Having expanded very quickly in all sectors of the marine electronics market, we decided in 2007 to integrate all our activities under one roof in our six-story privately owned building. Our headquarters are located in the heart of Piraeus, the largest Greek port and one of the most important international shipping hubs. Today, Aegean Electronics also operates an exclusive showroom in Flisvos Marina. An ideal leisure destination on the Athenian Riviera, designed and built to meet the high standards of large and luxurious Superyachts’ mooring.
Aegean is already engaged in the development, creation and testing of new technologies, using sustainable materials and practices helping to minimize the carbon footprint of our own along with our customers’ shipping, fisheries and yachting activities.
Looking ahead Aegean is examining possible future milestones and new opportunities provided by developments in the use of artificial intelligence integrating information for big data analysis and management in cloud-based applications. These developments allow new and sustainable solutions, which provide new opportunities for the journey towards a radically different intelligent world by testing new ideas and optimizing the roadmap for the years to come.
