Aegean Electronics continues a long family history and heritage in the maritime electronics’ market spanning time for more than 60 years, since the middle of the previous century. Established in 1996, Aegean combined comprehensive experience and knowhow with an original forward-looking outlook and was soon acknowledged as an innovative supplier of marine electronics’ systems services and solutions.
Over time we forged strong ties with local dealers throughout Greece and Cyprus as well as with international service companies, so we were able to coordinate and provide efficient and professional support for our valued customers.
Having expanded very fast in all marine electronics’ market sectors we decided in 2007 to have all our operations integrated under one roof in our fully owned purpose built six-story building. Our headquarters are located in the heart of Piraeus, the biggest Greek port and one of the most important international shipping clusters. Today Aegean Electronics also operates a dedicated showroom in Flisvos Marina, a retail development within one of the most upscale marinas in Aegean is already engaged in the development, creation and testing of new technologies, using sustainable materials and practices helping to minimize the carbon footprint of our own along with our customers’ shipping, fisheries and yachting activities.
Looking ahead Aegean is examining possible future milestones and new opportunities provided by developments in the use of artificial intelligence integrating information for big data analysis and management in cloud-based applications. These developments allow new and sustainable solutions, which provide new opportunities for the journey towards a radically different intelligent world by testing new ideas and optimizing the roadmap for the years to come.
